The Youth Experience at the Career Expo is an experiential learning experience for high school seniors and entry-level job seekers. Students are exposed to a large hiring event offering a wide variety of job opportunities – some entry-level, many that require further experience – in a controlled learning environment.
The Youth Experience encourages students to learn about a variety of career opportunities and presents an opportunity for them to speak with local hiring managers and educators about the type of jobs and career paths employers and industries offer. The day provides students with information that will teach them what education and work experiences they will need to move to the next level in any given career path.
